Here are a few details about the morning. • We plan to start promptly at 10.30am so please arrive in time to settle in and we expect to leave by noon. • Seating - Adults - and adults with children on their laps - will be provided with seating, whilst most children will be at the front on blankets. • Toilets - there is a toilet available but, unfortunately not suitable for disabled use. • We are really grateful to Renee and Jono Clive for the use of their garden. Please be careful to keep children supervised at all times and be particularly cautious around the pond area. • Entry – for safety reasons we must list everyone upon entry. We already have one name from each party but please be prepared to sign in adults and children upon arrival. • Access – Please enter via the Churchyard Gate (see map below), there will be signage to indicate this in the churchyard • Refreshments – cold drinks will be offered as you arrive • Sun protection – we have chosen a shaded part of the garden but the sun will be strong so hats and sun cream are advisable • Parking – Ledbury is always busy on Saturday morning, especially so as this is the first day of the Ledbury Poetry Festival. However, there are three car parks close by and all are accessed via Bye Street (leading from clocktower in High St.) • Books - Signed copies of The First Book of Animals are for sale in Tinsmiths after the event • A whole day of children’s activities – you may like to take a look and join in with the children’s events programmed in The Walled Garden and part of the Ledbury Poetry Festival, these are on a drop-in basis. We look forward to meeting you and enjoying the event, Clare de la Torre, Tinsmiths.
