Care Instructions

Care Instructions:

Indigo fabrics are dyed using the fermented leaves of the indigo bush. This natural dyestuff is not colorfast but these instructions are particular to the care of indigo-dyed fabrics.

Before the first wash, soak your fabric for an hour in a solution of 5 parts water to 1 part vinegar. Rinse thoroughly and wash with similar colours by hand or in a washing machine at 30 degrees. Dry in the open and expect that the intense blue will lighten over time.
