Marion Elliott is a designer and printmaker who works mainly in paper mediums and has a great love of folk and vernacular art. Marion uses printmaking techniques to create densely textured papers which she then uses in her detailed collage work. For this special exhibition is showing aseries of original papercuts with themes around traditional crafts with bespoke frames.
Marion has also worked with Martin at Tilley Printing on a poster, Harvest Moon, which is based around traditional slipware harvest jugs and makes great use of the wonderful type collection at the Ledbury printworks. Rounding off the work that we will be showing by Marion for ‘Papercut Pigeons & Brass Boots’, we have stacks of the special Tea Towels which Marion has designed for the exhibition,
