Katie B Morgan

Katie B Morgan describes herself as a decorative painter and restorer. This self-employed artist has been in practice for over 35 years, turning her love of British folk art into a way of living.

As a talented illustrator, Katie decorates and restores fairground rides, her favourites being waltzers and gallopers, and also uses these skills to decorate canal ware, Gypsy wagons and interior murals.

Having dipped in and out of making earthenware pots and decorating with the sgraffito technique, Katie has recently collaborated with John Forster from Winchcombe Pottery, to produce a lively collection of plates, jugs and slab moulded dishes for Tinsmiths inspired by British wildlife and folk traditions.
