Large Kilim Rug ANTK5

A very large, one-off, antique hand woven flatweave rug made using traditional artisan techniques.

This is a large rug in excellent condition. It has been tightly and evenly woven and has no areas of wear. It has two good sides, being woven so skillfully that it does not appear to have a ‘wrong’ side. In most part the colours are strong, although there is some variation in the red – some areas are a strong red and others more pink (see picture 2). There are one or two small areas of discolouration but in general the rug appears clean and in good condition.
